Anne-Marie is currently, or was previously, a Non-Executive Director on boards including the UCD Governing Authority, Pieta, the Public Appointments Service, the National Treatment Purchase Fund and the Irish Hospice Foundation, including as a member of the Audit & Risk committees. She is on the panel of Chairpersons for State Board appointments. She has a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and is a qualified executive coach.
Most of her earlier executive career was with Accenture where she held a number of senior local and global roles. She subsequently led her own management consulting practice specialising in business transformation projects with clients across a variety of sectors.
Anne-Marie has long been a champion of gender diversity in business. She was Programme Director for Balance for Better Business, a government-sponsored, business-led initiative to promote gender diversity in leadership positions. She was also a founder of the 30% Club in Ireland, and co-founder of the Board Diversity Initiative established in 2009.
